Questions
Who counts as a rising streamer?
A channel whose latest stream averaged at least 25% more viewers than its earlier streams. KickStatz compares the latest stream with up to 5 streams before it from the last 30 days. The latest stream must have ended in the last 7 days.
Why isn’t a channel I know on the list?
To keep out one-off flukes, a channel needs at least 2 earlier streams to compare with. Its latest stream must also have lasted an hour or more and averaged 10 or more viewers. Streams still live count once they end.
Why do some channels jump so much?
A single stream can jump when another streamer raids or hosts the channel, sending their viewers over, or when a stream is shared somewhere big. The list shows the jump; the channel page shows whether it lasts. Channels need 10 or more average viewers before, so tiny channels don’t fill the top with one raid.
How often does the list change?
Every time a stream ends. The page is worked out again at most every 15 minutes.
